After taking the comic book industry by storm nearly 20 years ago, DC Entertainment has announced that it will shut down its WildStorm imprint. This comes at a time when DCE is in the middle of a bi-coastal realignment. The multimedia arm of DCE will move to Burbank, Ca, while the publishing arm of DCE will stay in New York.The announcement of shutting down WildStorm comes after the July announcement that DCE was shutting down ZUDA Comics, their digital media imprint. The final issues published under the WildStorm name will be in December. After that, anything that was previously printed under the WildStorm imprint, will now be published under the DC Comics banner.
