Six Flags Magic Mountain has announced that a new 'Green Lantern' roller coaster will be debuting at the park sometime around Summer 2011. It will feature "a never before done completely vertical zig-zag pattern track" according to the official website.
In addition to the "Green Lantern" roller coaster, Six Flags also announced that "Superman: The Escape" will be transformed and debuting as "Superman: Escape from Krypton" for the 2011 season. The main difference will be that the passenger cars will be turned around and riders will go up the tower backwards and face the ground on the way down.
