The proposed reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise is shooting for a 2012 release date, and Paramount is not messing around! They've reportedly hired Art Marcum and Matt Halloway to write the script, and get this - these two are getting almost $1 million for a first draft ready by October! They seem to be pulling out the big guns for this one, aren't they? A source explains:
"The studio is looking at this as its next huge franchise, like Transformers."
